| Trivia night Saturday July 19th |
 This year's trivia night is shaping up to be the best one yet! So get
your thinking caps on and come on down! This is one of the major
fundraising events for the year so please support your club and bring
some friends.
Please RSVP to lissa@mhsobhc.com so that we can figure out how many snags to put on the BBQ. Details are as follows:
When: Saturday July 19th from 7pm
Where: Unicorn club @ MHS
Cost: $20 per person (including snags) |

Motey writes after an impromptu training session with the unfortunate player:
"Last night had me in tears. xxxx spent some time at the dugout. After belting balls at the goals for a few minutes I approached to see if everything was ok. What followed can't be undone.
Moteee: Hey xxxx, everything ok?
xxxx: Yeah, I just forgot my underwear.
Moteee: That's unfortunate, I guess the xxxx is free balling tonight.
xxxx: Just give me a minute, I'm taping them up.
Moteee: What the hell?
xxxx: Yeah, I'll just use some strapping tape.
The rest of the night proceeded with interuptions in the form of xxxx sticking his hand down his pants, screaming as he ripped strips off and then throwing said strips on the ground.
I'm sorry guys, but if this doesn't win the laughing cup, I don't know what will."

| Establishment of Student Hockey Scholarship |
Supporters of the Melbourne High School Old Boys' Hockey Club have
established a new annual scholarship to support students playing for
the Club who are studying at university. Your support for this
scholarship is sought.
The objectives of the scholarship are too provide financial assistance
to help students meet the growing costs of education and to encourage
students to make a contribution to the hockey club, both on and off
the field. The Melbourne High School Old Boys' Association is
administering the fund.
It is intended that the scholarship will commence in 2008 after
sufficient funds have been raised. If enough funding is raised before
the 2007 season, the scholarship may also be offered this year.
Your help is sought to make this scholarship a success. We are asking
that supporters of the Club consider donating money or providing
assistance with fund raising. If you are able to donate money or help
in any way please contact Simon Fenby. |
