In 2010 the ladies section, MHS-Caulfield, opted to withdraw from the State League Competition to pursue competitive and instructive hockey in the Metro Competition. With stellar performances week after week they won the flag in Metro 2 South with a golden goal from a stroke in the second half of extra time. As a result, they were promoted to the Metro 1 competition in 2011, finishing mid-field after a consistent and rewarding season. In 2012 the women entered a second team for the first time in several years. In 2013, after a compelling season under the guidance of English coach Chris Golding, the women secured promotion well before they entered a decisive finals campaign that saw them triumph in a superb Grand Final. In 2014 the ladies consolidated their position in Vic League 2, with the reserves earning a finals berth indicative of solid depth across the squad. They also entered a thirds team into the Metro competition, continuing to grow their numbers on the back of a successful summer social campaign.
As the club continues to grow in depth and versatility, it is with great excitement that we look forward to season 2019.
