2017 Ladies Season

Season 2017 was an exciting year for the ladies section as we looked to build on the hard work of the previous 2-3 years. With a majority of the section coming back for another season and some fresh faces joining the fold we had a lot to look forward to!

Our ladies firsts side (VL2) made our first finals appearance in 4 years by finishing 4th. Unfortunately they went down to eventual runners up PEGS Hockey Club. Our 2’s side were runners up in VL2R competition, narrowly going down to Monash, and our Metro A team narrowly missed out on a spot in the top four.

We could feel that it wasn’t long til all 3 sides were making finals and edging closer to success.
