| Men's winter season |
 Contrary to previous information, MHSOB Squad training will officially begin Tue 10th March. Men’s Training times from 2009 onwards have been improved due to popular demand:
· Tue 8:30-9:30 pm (full ground) · Thu 7:00-8:00 pm (half ground)
Because Round 1 is so soon (Sat 18th April), we’ll just jump straight onto the pitch. No need bother running before/after, just an enjoyable, focussed session, so no excuses. Obviously everyone is required (and welcome). Pre-season fitness will be handled separately. See you all there with sticks, unwashed socks & smelly shin-guards at 7pm SHARP for a hit, some fun, and a squad meeting (drink or three) afterwards to welcome two or three new players to the Club.

| Establishment of Student Hockey Scholarship |
 Supporters of the Melbourne High School Old Boys' Hockey Club have
established a new annual scholarship to support students playing for
the Club who are studying at university. Your support for this
scholarship is sought.
The objectives of the scholarship are too provide financial assistance
to help students meet the growing costs of education and to encourage
students to make a contribution to the hockey club, both on and off
the field. The Melbourne High School Old Boys' Association is
administering the fund.
It is intended that the scholarship will commence in 2008 after
sufficient funds have been raised. If enough funding is raised before
the 2007 season, the scholarship may also be offered this year.
Your help is sought to make this scholarship a success. We are asking
that supporters of the Club consider donating money or providing
assistance with fund raising. If you are able to donate money or help
in any way please contact Simon Fenby. |
